I thought to myself that I wouldn't miss her. I cannot say that I was completely wrong, but I can't say that I am right either. After all, it has been the same for the last 6 years and it's hard to adjust when all of a sudden everything changed, more like stopped...

Anyway, bought a new chair at Ikea. It's called Markus (why is it not MARCUS?), and it costed me $280. My budget was $300, so I consider it a success.

Yes I do agree that it's sorta overkill, but as long as it please my back/neck/head (I spent HOURS AND HOURS in front of my com), I am all for it xD

Subject:My credit card list!
Time:6:13 pm.
Mood: weird.
Hmmm, seeing that I am sorta bored, so I took a look at my secret (or not) box and my wallet to have a look at my credit cards. Here's the list:

RBC student Visa (Cancelled by RBC due to inactivity...those bastards)
TD Green Visa (never activated, never used)
MBNA UT Mastercard (cannot be used anymore since upgraded)
PCF Mastercard (not in use since PCF got downgraded)
AMEX Blue 1% Cashback (not in use)
MBNA Platinum Plus Premium Rewards (In use when I feel like it)
Citi Enrich (cannot be used anymore since upgraded)
Citi Platinum Enrich (activated, never used)
CIBC Platinum Visa (Use only for places that ONLY take Visa)
Citi Pedro Canada MC (Currently in use)
AMEX Gold 2% Cashback (Currently in use, can't beat 2% cashback in Canada!)

damn that's too many credit cards and I only use 3 of them --*

And no I am not in deep credit card debt, I make sure I pay off every single cent of my cc debt every month ;)

Subject:School Days status
Time:6:14 am.
Mood: exhausted.
I have officially went overboard for School Days. I now work for a subber...ummm wait don't I have a test in 3 hours?! and I am doing a script for ep 3?! -_-*

Anyway, I wish I could have more time to write entries for this anime, but i wont be able to till school is finished (@$T@$^#&&#%& summer school)

Have a look here if you want to look at the pics for the 1st episode along with a mini-summary, it's certainly worth a read xD

I especially love the comments about kotonoha (the cute as a button long-hair girl) not carrying knives xD Why you ask? Just watch this below:

(WARNING: The clip is pretty violent with BLOOD OMG -__-* So if you can't stand kind of stuff pls don't watch...anyway, pretend you didn't read this and go watch the clip, NOW! xD)

Lastly, I have to say that Sekai > Kotonoha. Ketsuron!

Mood: lazy.
I think my addiction for Airantou is reaching unhealthy status. Now if the next ep (10) is entirely on Suzu, I think I won't not be able to sleep until I watch the subs...-_-* I am also a hugh sucker for tonkatsu, she is the best mini puff pig that I've seen in anime...too cuuttte! And thanks to the hotness (and moe power) of Horie Yui's voice, I am addicted to the OP Days as well...nooooooo!

How can you NOT SAY WIN to such a cuteeeeeeeeeeeee girl (and pig)!

Suzu + Tonkatsu = WINCollapse )

Sorry for choosing a bad quality pic, but it's kind of hard to look for a pic that's more appropriate for LJ...xD (and the fact that I like the pic helps too =D)

Time:12:04 am.

Love it. Although I have to give it premium gas (as if REGULAR gas isn't expensive enough already), it also needs synethic oil for oil change, lastly and most costly, a huge insurance bill. BUT I LOVE THIS CAR.

Subject:N95 Prototype Review
Time:10:57 pm.
Mood: accomplished.
When I first heard about the n83 rumors on Howard Forums, I went crazy. What I can’t believe later is I actually got invited to Nokia Open Studio right after. Turned out that it was suppose to be called the n95. It was there that I first see the beauty in person. I got a chance to play with the device after the pre-Studio day presentation *winks to Darla, Teo and Rafe*. It was so great that I proudly claimed this is going to be my next phone. So fast forward 4 months, and I have the privilege of testing out the prototype. Although I have already played with it back in September, it’s still exciting to have another chance to see it in person, especially since I get the chance to use it for almost two months. I am going to focus the review on the newer firmware as the old one is just too buggy. I hope you all enjoy this review! The reason why I wrote this here is because I can constantly update this without the 2 hour editing limit on hofo. And lastly...sorry for the delay xD

The phone comes with a battery (BL-5F), European charger, 1 gb micro-sd with sd-adaptor, TV-out cable, usb datacable, stereo headset and headset adaptor with play/stop/fwd/rewind buttons. One funny thing was it came with a N70 manual and 6680 PC-Suite CD. The retail/final n95 may or may not come with all those accessories. (Well at least no N70 manual or 6680 PC-Suite CD)

Build/Slide Quality:
I can proudly say that my N95 has great build quality. The phone feels tight when you grip it unlike my N80IE which creaks. Notice both phones are made in Finland and are prototypes. The N95’s slide is tight, and it opens and closes with a nice click, as you can see on the following video:

Although the N95’s build quality is impressive, I do have a problem with the buttons. There is empty space on top, left and right of the keypad which could be used to increase the keypad size. I happened to press on the empty space a lot of times when I tried to call/sms without looking at the keypad. I also believe the the left/right softkeys and the pickup/hangup keys can be bigger. I have lots of trouble pressing the left softkey at the beginning as the top part of the key is less sensitive. The memory door is exactly like the N73, so I won’t make any comments there.

Some pics of the phone:

Pic #5

Sorry for the quality as I am no expert photographer...

As I said before, I will be reviewing the phone with the newer firmware:

V 10.0.002
N95 (01.01)

It’s much better than the old firmware (1.51.067), however it is still buggy and crashes randomly for reasons unknown. The phone would stay in idle mode all of a sudden and you won’t realize it because the phone looks as if nothing has happened. However once you try to hit the buttons, uh-oh. One funny thing is the screen will stay the same even though you have taken the battery out as shown on this video:

Hopefully the production N95’s firmware that I will receive will not have that problem.

It’s quad-band. No problems with RF whatsoever. But then I can survive with a non-850 tri-band phone when everybody claims I won't survive without one. *Shrugs*

Video Recording:
I am going to leave it for you to judge with the following videos~

In bus terminal -

Walking in the grocery store -

Outside Pacific Mall –

30 fps DVD-like quality as claimed by Nokia. Nuff said!

The 5 megapixel part is great, but I think it still needs some work as the quality leaves much to be desired. Some pics from the phone with no editing:

Although this phone is full of EVERY function imaginable (is that a word even?), there are issues and concerns, at least with my prototype. First of all, battery life is not as good as I want it to, though it was expected because of the battery (950 mah). It can barely last a day and all I do was sms'ing for 8 hours at the brightest setting. Nokia should have put the same battery that they used for the N73 and N93, which is the BP-6M (1100 mah). The N73 and N93 have no problems passing my sms test. Even my N-Gage with BL-6C has no problem passing the test. It is better than the N80 however. Nokia should make an extended battery that has at least 1100 mah so its users can fully utilize the phone's abilities (Maybe BL-6F?). Another concern is speed. It takes almost 10 seconds from pressing the button to getting the menu screen. The camera app is also a huge concern as it takes almost 4 seconds from being able to take a picture after turning on the shutter. It also takes around 3 seconds after a picture is taken for a user to see it. Unacceptable in my opinion. Hopefully they can all be fixed in the production firmware.

This is what I expect from Nokia. Camera, video recorder, MP3 player, GPS all in one package. Although it is not perfect with the camera and the GPS, but hey, nothing is perfect in this world. Is it also worth its price tag you say? I will certainly say yes as SE/Samsung/Motorola will not have anything that can beat this beast for quite sometime. I will certainly have no problem buying it once it comes out, although I will be getting one from Nokia for free. xD I am not going to review the GPS yet as it is too buggy and would not be accurate/fair imo to give it a rating right now. Feel free to pm me on Hofo if you have any questions or anything that you want me to look at. Please go easy on me =) And thank you for reading!

More to come as I update this…
